The Story

One Mans Dream Became A Reality For Many...

Everyone desires the life they dream of, but few people turn those dreams into a reality. Thats not the case for Brian Taschler and his son, Jake Taschler. At a young age Brian had sold his plastics manufacturing company in pursuit of a life where he could make memories with close friends and family while doing the thing they love the most, hunting.

Fast forward now to 2022 when Jace Martinetto, owner of the video production company Martinetto Media LLC, is pulling up a driveway to a 3,800 acre hunting property in West Virginia. A mix of hardwoods and pine are spanning the mountainside, the air is cool and crisp, just then a doe and 2 fawns cross the driveway on their way to one of the many food plots on the property. As Jace continues driving he rounds the final corner of the driveway and there it is, a massive pole building tucked into the depths of the most peaceful and gorgeous hollow you've ever seen. The trickling creek passing along side the building stretches the lengths of the property and welcomes guests as they wind their way up to the main door. Captivated by the beauty that surrounds him Jace steps out of his truck and is quickly greeted by Brian, "Welcome to Jake Brake Hollow", he says...

It was apparent why Brian was drawn to this place, and why he decided to make the investment and call Jake Brake Hollow his recreational home and hunting camp. The diversity in habitats and animal species are abundant, the geology is that of proper Appalachia, and the people surrounding it all are kind hearted and caring folk. Needless to say there is something magical about Jake Brake Hollow and the land in which it resides.

So, the stage was set. Brian knew he had something special and he wanted to start sharing it with everyone, that's when he decided to go to the next level and turn his vision and dream into a TV show. For the past 3 years the hunts and adventures of the Jake Brake Hollow crew have been filmed and documented in some of the best image quality that the industry has to offer. After much planning, anticipation, and hard work, this show is finally ready to hit the screens of all sizes and be enjoyed by audiences from all walks of life.

As it currently stands, the Jake Brake Hollow crew consists of:

Brian and Jake Taschler - The father and son duo out to make a name for their themselves in the hunting industry and take their hunting operations to the next level.

Andrew Reis - The right hand man to Brian, and the camp manager. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, and other daily operations flow through Andrew.

Roger Amos - The Jake Brake Hollow property manager and head of maintenance and repairs. Do we dare call him the coyote and trapping expert as well?

Buster George - Rogers partner in crime and overall handyman.

Lee Kuntz - Hunting buddy, and smack talking extraordinaire.

Everyone in the crew plays their roll, and most do it to extraordinary measures. One thing can rest assure though, this crew has fun, and lots of it. There's never a dull moment when these guys are together, and it's blindingly apparent how tight knit they are and the love they hold for one another. They make up the most ideal crew for a (dis)functional hunting camp, but the proof is ultimately in the pudding. These guys put down some monster deer, in a variety of states, and have endless fun while they are at it. This crew is one of a kind, and the only way to fully display that is through the lens of a camera and the final edits that make it to the TV screen.
